The contents of this page on our website make available information on the Liberton Northfield Parish Church Data Protection Policies / Procedures which have been put in place to comply with the European and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into force on 25th May 2018. This new regulation supersedes the Data Protection Act of 1998.

A Quick Reference Guide to GDPR Do’s and Don’ts (a checklist)
The following advice (strongly recommended) will become second nature as we increasingly get into the habit of “thinking GDPR” when we know we are dealing with personal data items such as names, postal and/or email addresses, telephone numbers etc which can be used to identify an individual person. These are main points for guidance only – the full detail is contained further down this page.
Each one of us at LNPC (Liberton Northfield Parish Church) has responsibility for compliance with GDPR (the EU General Data Protection Regulation) enforced from May 25th 2018, whether part of a recognised group within LNPC or not.

Liberton Northfield Parish Church Data Storage Consent form
This editable data storage consent form can be used to provide your consent to whomsoever requests it (at their request only – ideally the requestor will provide you with the latest up to date version of the consent form). When and if used, the form can be kept for personal records, sent to the request originator who can then retain for personal and / or LNPC records and (optionally) copied to the GDPR Coordinator for overall retention on behalf of LNPC.
